NOPE electric bikes and electric scooters was recently invited for the Virgin Blue Vitality bike ride with Australia’s International Pro Cycling Team – Fly V Australia. On their NOPE electric bike, Virgin staff and friends had no trouble keeping up with the Champions. After the ride was completed, the elite riders also went for a ride on the NOPE electric bike and were amazed with the extra power and the fun.

Jim McKnoulty, recently spotted with his newly purchased Nope Dyno IV electric bike, as shown in the caricature to the right that was run in the Courier Mail.  The chairman of Conics and CitySmart has taken to his Nope electric bike to ensure all diary commitments will be met.

“I take my Nope e-bike to meetings and always get there quicker than my colleagues in car or taxi” Jim said, “now the rear pannier bag is my new brief case. ”

Say NOPE to Multiple Sclerosis! – Sunday the 19th of July.

We are taking part in the 2009 Brissie to the Bay Bike Ride to raise funds for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis. All funds raised go towards providing services for Queenslanders living with MS and to fund research into finding a cure for this mystery disease that affects over 18,000 Australians. A big thank you to everyone who has participated and fundraised in the event and helped MS raise a record smashing $208,148!

Division winner at Le Minz 24 hour endurance race.

Nope Electric scooters shone at this great event in its 6th year at the Gold Coast. On Saturday the 14th February around 25 scooters lined up at Parklands Showgrounds on the Gold Coast for 24 hours of scooter endurance racing. The flag dropped and it was on for young & old. The Nope electric scooter made history by being the first electric vehicle to complete the event.

Being one of Surf Life Saving Queensland’s largest annual club-based fundraising events, the 45th Conrad Jupiters Summer Surf Girl program culminated with the final judging week held from May 6-10 at Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast. 16 entrants vied for the title of 2009 Conrad Jupiters Summer Surf Girl and instead of a petrol car given as previous prize, this year’s winner was awarded with the key to her brand new Nope J50 Retro electric scooter proudly sponsored by Nope.

Nope electric bikes and electric scooters were one of the major attractions on world Environment Day at Greenfest, City Botanic Gardens Friday 5th June 2009.

The days events included public concerts with some of Australia’s top musicians, workshops, organic food, innovations as well as exhibitions for a cooler planet and the Telsa electric car.
